God Works In Mysterious, But Often Wonderful Ways
and The Story Of Birthday Blessing Is No Different...
When Patricia Morris, our founder, was personally saved she was also challenged by the pastor of her church to
get involved in the community. She asked God what He wanted her to do, and to let His light shine through her.
She learned about
Operation Care
and was inspired by what Susie Jennings was doing for the homeless people.
At their annual event they helped 10,000 homeless people regain hope and feel the love of Jesus Christ! They were
provided new clothes, blankets, medical screenings, washing of feet, new shoes, personal care items, warm food,
drinks, much love, and, above all... God's touch!
Patricia was inspired* and thought, “What about the children!?” Her friend, Kris, suggested providing families in
need with party supplies. That reminded Patricia of special memories of birthday parties from her childhood. Soon,
Patricia's prayers were answered. Or, more to the point, God's call was planted on her heart.
Birthday Blessing was formed as an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that sponsors
birthday parties and gifts for children of families in need with the hope of making them feel loved and
important on their special day.
Children are our future, so who more needs to feel the hope and love of Jesus!?

Our mission is to touch the lives of children and to show them how much Jesus Christ loves them
and wants a relationship with them.

* God can use anyone to do his work - all you have to do is ask. With prayer, and God’s help, maybe someone will
be inspired to create another wonderful ministry or join and support Birthday Blessing!?

Birthday Blessing invites Christians from all churches and everyone in our community to join in with us to
celebrate the lives of children everywhere.
